My roomate, Hannah was in a class at Parsons School of Design when the professor began discussing Victorian times. 'A woman's ability to cook, keep a clean house and sew was considered an indicator of her morality,' the instructor said. 'A dirty house was the sign of a fallen woman. what would we call a young woman today who couldn't cook, clean a house or sew?'
Hannah replied, " Normal"
