vanquish the night with a turn of the hand,
i am the new beginning of a life so grand.
eye to eye, we are not the same,
the light which i send is not mine to tame.

I think its from the sun's point of view

Vanquish the night with a turn of the hand- The night dissapears as the hand on a clock moves.

I am the beginning of a life so grand- The ecosystem is based on the sun.. the sun is the source of all our energy and reason why life begins. No sunlight, no plants, no animals, no people..

eye to eye we are not the same, the sun and the moon meet and they are not the same

the light which i send is not mine to tame----the light does not belong to the sun, it belongs to earth.
