Survivorman or Man vs. Wild?!

Question:

Survivorman or Man vs. Wild?

Which show do you prefer? I think Man vs. Wild is okay for entertainment, but he claims to help you 'Learn to Survive.' I actually think that is crap because if a 300 lb. man got lost in the wilderness he couldn't do half the things Grylls can. Survivorman is more interesting to me because he is by himself in some remote place, and he is more like a real, lost person. Bear Grylls goes on his journey with a water bottle, a knife, flint, and many other things. Les Stroud only goes with a knife, and occasionally something else. If I was stuck in the wilderness and followed Gryll's tips, I'd probably end up dead faster than if I used my own survival 'techniques.' Face it people: Stroud will keep you alive . . .

Answers:

Survivorman is more realistic in the sense that he has nothing but cameras. Bear always carries a knife on him for some reason when he gets "lost." Bear also know where he is, has a camera crew, and does the stupidest things. He ate a bunch of termites and then puked them up later. Survivorman doesn't know where he is, does more logical stuff, and actually knows his facts.

Sure, Bear was in the SAS, but he makes himself look like a fool. My dad was an Eagle scout and said that he was a fool for doing a lot of the stuff that he did. Stay with Survivorman, not Bear (Man vs. Wild).
