The answer is V, A, S, C, I.

The first thing you have to do is put the U.S. states in alphabetical order. Then starting from the beginning, take the first letter of the first word, the second letter of the second word, 3rd for the 3rd, 4th for the 4th, and 5th for the 5th word, then when you get to the 6th beging again. 1st letter of the 6th word, 2nd for the 7th, and so on and so forth. The first letter of Virginia is V, the 2nd letter of Washington is A, the 3rd letter of West Virginia is S, the 4th letter of Wisconsin is C, and the 5th letter of Wyoming is I.
