Have you used the keys to get the gasoline from the car's trunk? Once you have filled the blowtorch with the gasoline, then just click on the blowtorch icon and "use item" to melt the bars away. After thet, you will go through a mandated video of watching your BF die and then you need to keep exploring the sewer. Use the lightbulb to illuminate the room with the treasure chest and start clicking on the right hand walls. You will see more people through the wall and the game is pretty much over from there.
