Designed by Kimberley-Clark in 1914 as an absorbent soft paper to dress wounds of soldiers. It was at this time called Cellucotton. It was so effective the army looked for other uses. They found it worked well as an air filter in gas masks. After the war Kimberley-Clark had warehouses full of the stuff and had to find a marketable use for them. They changed the name of the stuff and hired movie stars to endorse it as a sanitary ciold cream remover. It was a huge success. But another use was found for them by the husbands of those women buying them, and it is the primary use of this product today. What is the product?
