A Riddle for the curious & bored....?
Everyday after work, a man, who lives in a 40 floor hotel, takes an elevator up to the 36th floor and takes the stairs the rest of the way up. Only occasionally (rarely) does he take the elevator straight up to the 40th floor. The elevator is working perfectly fine and has never been broken. Why does the man do this?
