Question:

This riddle was supposedly on the Cambridge entrance exam. Can you guess the answer?

Two men were climbing up a mountain when they fell into the precipice and died. Their spirits rose up and they continued to climb. They saw two eagles and said, 'Ah, eagles!' The eagles, being polite, did not answer. (Keep in mind this is a British riddle)
Why didn't the eagles answer?

Weatherman - spirits and souls are the same thing. i leave it up to the answerers to find the similes b/c otherwise it would be too obvious, don't ya think?

Answers:

I've heard this one and it's quite funny. The eagles have accents don't forget. It actually shoud read 'souls' because the eagles would say

Ahh Souls

I'm from the U.S. and if you're English/Scottish it would sound like A** H**** because they slipped and fell and died. The eagles were polite :)

That would be pretty hilarious if that was on a college enterance exam!
