Trust me, this one works out, just takes alot of time. i can almost promise u that u wont be able to get it...

youve got 12 cue (pool) balls, they all look exactly alike, and you wont be able to feel weight difference with your hands. 11 of the twelve balls weighs the same. 1 weighs more OR less than the rest, you don't know if its more or less than the rest. you have got a balance scale, and you may weigh the balls in any way that you like, BUT YOU MAY ONLY WEIGH 3 TIMES. and then you have to say what ball is different, and is it heavier or lighter??

anybody even want to try this riddle?

The scale only says if its heavier or lighter!!!! not by how much!!

Split the balls into 3 groups of 4 and balance 2 of the groups on the scales. if one is lighter then the other then this contains the lighter ball, if they both are the same then take the 3rd group as this will contain the lighter ball.
Split the remaining group in two and see which is lighter and then weigh the two balls left.
