Three managers in an office see a portable TV in a sale for £30 so send their gofer off with the money to buy

When he gets there the price has been reduced to £25. So as to keep things tidy he gives the three managers £1 each back and pockets the £2 left over.
The three managers have now laid out £9 each = £ 27 and the gofer has £2 making £29 altogether laid out.
What happened to the £1 from the original £30?
A conundrum for those who have not heard it.

The TV cost £25 (£8.33.3r each)

The Mangers received £3 back (£1 each)

The gofer kept £2 (£0.66.6r each)


So in actual fact the managers spent £9.33.3r each
