my boyfriend has moon in capricorn, but isnt really like the description!.!.!.
he isnt cold at all, more like naive and unconfrontational and modest about his feelings!. but when we talk about them he is open about it and mostly cares more about my feelings than his!.
(what could make him less like his moon from his chart!?)

I wouldn't call Capricorn Moons cold, but it's certainly not where the Moon likes to be!. The Moon is at home in Cancer, and is in detriment in Capricorn, so the Moon's ability to shine is greatly dimmed and restricted!.
This manifests often as being unable to put their feelings into words, understand their feelings, or have few feelings beyond what is necessary to accomplish their goals!. Simply, Capricorn Moons are as foreign to emotion and intuition as a cubicleman/code monkey is in a coal mine!. Further, with his moon in the eighth house, his feelings aren't even meant really to be discussed, and he does it often at his own detriment; he more often feels better investigating and weeding out what other people feel, hence why he probably tries to talk about your feelings more than his!.
Being a Gemini rising, he talks a lot and is really quite fast on his feet, so what he lacks in emotional understanding he makes up for in intellectual observation and "putting the pieces together"!.
