Is Scorpio Mars a magnet for VD?!
Question: Is Scorpio Mars a magnet for VD!?
I've read in several astrology white papers the correlation between Mars in Scorpio and the statistically higher numbers of venereal diseases for that particular placement!.
I also have several close friends with this placement, and from them I understand that this placement is promiscuous and not particularly attentive to safe sex practices!.
For those of you who have Mars in Scorpio, do you find that it influences your attitude toward safe sex practices!?
And what other placements might mitigate the impulsive quality of this placement (ie!. does a Cancer Sun help the Scorpio Mars slow down and consider the consequences!?)

Interesting Irish!. From what I've read, Mars in Scorpio is actually two sided!. They can be overtly sexual, or down right celibate!.
I have Mars in Scorpio, and I'm proud to say I've never had a VD!. Abstinent for over 2 years now!.
Mars is action, and your body and your physical self!. Scorpio can swing two ways, very indulgent in every aspect of their sex life, or the type who is kind of looking for something particular, sexually speaking, and they are extremely adament about having that, and only that!. It's like how Scorpio's can go searching for something on a higher plane, a placement of Mars in Scorpio can certainly signify that, with the physical self, more than *any* other placement!. Scorpio's are known for honesty, and if that placement is in Mars, for signifying their actions, overt sexual behavior only would be found in the negatively afflicted!.

I think it could possibly be a contributing factor but there would have to be more indications in the chart!. A good dose of fire for impulsiveness!. Venus or Moon in hard aspect to Scorpio Mars particularly from the 6th (health), 8th (sex), or 12th (things hidden) houses!. I think earth placements might lessen the affects!. Saturn in the 6th house might impair the immune system!. I read an article that said Venus in Virgo might be in danger of stds because the only way they can have sex is to convince themselves it is love and be caught up in the moment!. lol I only agree with half of that!. ;) AIDS came into being when Pluto entered Scorpio!. I am a one man woman, and all the other Scorpio Mars people I know are in dedicated and devoted type relationships!. Maybe those studies were done on people who lived in a different time!. I don't know anyone my age who is not wary of promiscuity!.
For the record, I'm a Pisces Sun with Moon in Virgo, Venus in Pisces!. I need a partner who is loyal and devoted, and so in turn that is the type of partner I strive to be!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
