Question: What things should I be looking for in balancing an opposition!?
Between Mercury in Capricorn and Leo moon!?
In some respects those signs compliment one another!. If you know anything about oppositions between elements that are not 'opposite'!.!.!.please provide some feedback on what I might need to focus on!. Or just an opinion!. Anything goes!.

Sorry to say but Capricorn / Leo are not signs of opposition!. In fact, Capricorn and Leo are two signs that have nothing in common - not by modality or element or otherwise!. So on a natural chemistry level if you try to force them into a relationship they will tend to rub each other the wrong way!.
Here you have the Prom Queen (Moon in Leo) v!. the studious chess club geek (Mercury in Capricorn)!. Generally the Prom Queen and the studious chess club geek while they may attend the same school for the same amount of years they may never seek the other out or interact with one another at least not on any meaningful or significant level!. This is not to say they haven't noticed each other while passing in the hall!.
Actually, in this case your Mercury is Capricorn probably brings some much needed grounding and better wisdom to your Moon or rather your more dramatic moods and wilder knee-jerk reactions!. Perhaps you would agree!? In my view, the balance will be there naturally, so long as your Moon (emotional world) and Mercury (thinking function) continue to exist as they are, for what they are, content with simply passing in the hall without ever really having a major altering impact on the other!.
