Question: Do you think your placements/aspects give you your talents, or do they just incline you to certain things!?
This is just a simple example, but lets say a person has moon trine mercury, for instance - this is an aspect that I've read could indicate a person who can express their emotions very easily and communicate them to other people well!.
Now, what if this person was a reknowned poet, loved for their articulate expression of human emotion!? Many followers of astrology may look at this aspect and say, 'Aha! That's it!' Is it really the presence of this aspect that gives them their talent and gift!? Or is it something else!? Couldn't a person with moon trine mercury just be more inclined to talk about their emotions, and have no little poetic talent or appeal as a poet at all!?
I understand this is just one aspect, but even taking the whole chart into account, will it tell you what you are particularly 'good' at or will it just tell you what you are inclined to do!?
