Question: So does your rising sign affect your appearance!?
Some people say it does but others say it affects the way people see you!!? So the reason I ask is because I don't think I fit the Taurus description at all!. My sun sign is Libra,Taurus (rising), and Leo (moon)!. I'm very much a Libra and even a Leo but the Taurus I just doesn't seem to fit lol!.

I read somewhere that it does affect your physical appearance,and that planets that make a strong aspect to the ascendant say like if you have venus conjunct the ascendant you will have dimples,and very attractive features and a nice complexion or like me i have pluto in the first house and i do have very intense blue/green eyes,and like a square type face,but i'm a libra rising and my features are balanced,and i think i do fit the physical description of it however i'm a cancer too,and i definitely fit that because i'm very sensitive and moody too,but i think it's a mix of your sun moon,and rising sign!.I have moon in "aquarius" and i can be unpredictable,and rebellious too when i want to be,and dislike being told what to do by anyone!.

Your rising just shows that you have physical appearances and traits of that sign!. For instance, mine's Leo and would explain why I'm taller and thinner than my dad's side of the family (the girls on that side are at least 4' 11" and I'm 5' 5") since they're all shorter Italians lol!. I'm also more extroverted whereas they're mostly ambiverts!.

I can't tell because I'm a triple Libra!.!.!. sun, rising, moon!. I've seen this in others though!. I have a best friend who is a Capricorn with Pisces rising and Cancer moon!. I can often see the Cap and Can really at odds with each other behind the scenes, but her beautiful Pisces rising makes it all look so smooth and peaceful!.

Hmmm!.!.!.good question!.!.!.I 'm still exploring that one!. So far, I call the ascendant "the unseen -albeit strongly felt- flavour"!.!.!.it is the Air you project because you are focusing your attention and life-path towards the sign in which your ascendant falls!. I've heard that generally, as you get older, you project your ascendant more and more!.
A lot of people are surprised when they find out I'm taurus sun, as they often think I'm Aq (my ascendant!.)
However, in as far as my Own observations of Other people!.!.!.I think they usually physically/ energetically shine out their sun sign and their moon, emotions shines out through their eyes!. I only Sometimes can tell their LIFE FOCUS (ascendant) just by how they seem to be preocuppied, i!.e!. Aquarius (chatting to loads of people, wanting to get people together) Taurus (enjoying abundance of nature/earth)
My sister is Sun in Libra (and deffinitely "shines out" libra) with Ascendant in Capricorn!.!.!.and she deffinitely Focuses her energy on being productive in terms of her home, the immediate resources, getting it done!.!.
