Question: What's the meaning of the 2nd house!?
Besides money and possessions!.!.!.!.does it have any impact on one's mentality or way of thinking in general!?

The 2nd house also represents the inner physical body!. This is where an individual gets to treat his body like a possession!.It is a sense of self-worth!. Planets in this house have affect on money, possesions ( both material and physical) , depends on what aspect they recieve, one's body could be treated properly by the individual through proper diet!. Or if the planets in this house is afflicted ( say moon in this house recieving bad aspect from saturn ) , the individual might either have problem with over-indulgence through eating , or have a hatred for food!. Either way, the individual might feel that their body does not deserve to be treated properly (conciously or unconciously )!.
Case in point, I have saturn in 2nd house and when sickness comes, it is almost always coughing and sore throat for me as the 2nd house govern over the throat !. Whenever I over exert myself using Sun/Mars conjunction , Saturn in the 2nd trine the conjunction always put a stop on it by giving me sickness ( it sounds sucky, but its kinda effective ) , and 1 or 2 day of fever is also usually the case - as Sun/Mars conjunction is linked with temperature, i!.e fever!. because it is a trine between these planets , I tend to recover fast, but I guess thats how saturn teaches one about putting moderation and caution on one's physical body , should saturn be found in the 2nd!.
And Mercury 2nd and to a greater extent , Venus and Jupiter in the 2nd would point out to Morality in acquiring possessions!. A good mercury , I think , would give the individual positive morals about possesions , an afflicted mercury might say otherwise!. Though , aspect and planetary replacements in the 6th, 10th could offset this!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The second house is all about what you value and what you have which is of value, which of course goes far beyond (one would hope, anyhow) but does include your financial value!.

very important, the planets in this house as well, this house would have a lot of influence on your self worth!.!. how you would aim to achieve it and how you would feel when you are deprived of it!.!. it can also have a lot to do with the values(principles) we acquire through the course of our lives
