Question: Does the Parallel aspect really matters!?
I've read that some astrologers consider it equal to conjunction and some others don't consider it at all !! so which team is right and why!?

It's like you say: two different camps and never the twain do meet!.
I myself find parallels solve The Mystery of the Missing Aspect, and use them like conjunctions!.

I think I use them in a way similar to Sindy!. When something is missing, parallels can explain it!. I mentioned this in an answer to Queen Rach recently!. I have Pluto // North Node but in aspect my Pluto trines North Node!. This explains my urgency to move towards the N Node!. The trine on the other hand would indicate ease!.
Everyone I have talked to only uses 1 degree orb!. It is similar but not equal to conjuncts!. The main thing is that parallels will show you that relationships do exist between planets that may not have any contact in your natal chart!. Like Sindy said a "Missing Aspect"!.
