Question: What if you only have one aspect to the sun!?
I have Sagittarius sun in the 12th house!.
The only aspect to the sun in my chart I have is Sun Sextile Midheaven!.
Midheaven is in Libra!.
Sometimes I feel like I might not even be a Sagittarius even though I am haha!. I honestly think I've got much bigger aspects controlling my personality in my birth chart!. I know it's confusing, is this a weak aspect, or how would it affect me!? I'm asking because I saw in a question asked by Danger where Janet (hey yall!) answered saying "I would worry about an unaspected Sun or Moon, especially in the 12th house!. It might indicate a lost or very lonely soul!. An unaspected Neptune in the 12th would be an okay thing!."
So it got me thinking because I always feel like I'm alone, usually because I am but I'm very independent!. An unaspected Sun is indeed very rare , since it is also in the 12th house , the power and manifestation of the Sun is furtherly diminished!. It would be more accurate to say that your Sun is hidden in the 12th house of secrets and self-undoing!. Sun sextile MC is not a " real " planetary aspect since MC is not a planet, but a hypothetical point, it has no effect on the Sun and is dictated by the Sun!.
Firstly an unaspected Sun is problematic in away that it has no support , and yet no challenges from any other planet!. Psychologically and behaviorally speaking , just like when a child growing up without any real set support and challenges , he/she will have to learn everything without any prior knowledge or warning!. The same is with the unaspected Sun , it may indicate that in this life time , you might need to learn about your real self, you true identity , your pride and set out your own ego!. Normally , an aspected Sun , harmonious or challenging , would be given some kinda " information " and " effects " from the aspecting planets , but you might not have that , thats is probably why you have not seen yourself much as a Sagittarius!. In this case, your moon sign and your ASC ruler would take over!. However, you still need to seek for your " SUN identity "
Second, the Sun falls in your 12th house!. This house is a hidden house , it is the " womb " where everything ends and starts!. As a fellow watery Sag Sun, I can understand how the placement of your sun might feel, I think!.
It's the strangest thing, being a fire sign expressed as water, always feeling a bit suffocated by your surroundings, I'll bet!. I was actually asthmatic for a time when I was younger due to this!. Adding to Ryan's (A Tee Story's) answer, I'll say that you find this watered down Sagittarian influence to be to your advantage in your career, which is very important to you and which you put a considerable amount of energy into!.
I have to say that the point of having a Sagittarian Sun sign, or any sun sign for that matter, is to be able to express it to it's fullest potential, something which may be somewhat difficult for you, but it is not impossible!. In particular, you want to take advantage of the progression of your Sun into your first house, if you haven't already done so, as well as transits to your Sun from influences which will make it easier for you to express that solar energy with more assertion and self confidence!. The birth chart is only a guideline, what you make of it is up to you!. This is where most people err as far as astrology goes!. People expect the birth chart to act as an excuse for shortcomings, disappointments, and just generally not living up to our full potentials, i!.e!. "Well I've got planet X in sign Y so therefore I can't help it, I'm just Z character trait!." Just because you've got that 12th house sun, doesn't mean that you can't learn to express it to it's fullest potential!. Your ascendant actually assists with this, being in Sagittarius as well, you are naturally inclined and predisposed towards expressing yourself in a Sagittarian manner!. It's what you want to do and be, but you have difficulty doing it!. Still, until you learn to express that Sun sign energy more openly (because Sagittarius is all about freedom and openness) if you haven't already done so, you may find yourself to be somewhat dissatisfied with the state of your affairs, or you may find this to be true of yourself in the past!.

Just out of curiousity, if you want to say, do you have anything in the 11th, 7th, or 5th house!?
I really don't know much, but the taurus moon in 5th stands out to me! I bet you would REALLY love a good time!. Your emotions are probably quite tied into have fun, and expressing yourself artistically perhaps!. Parties, food, laughing it up with friends is probably of high importance to you!. And unless the people around you are a bad and malicious crowd, this would probably be good for you as a person!. Perhaps this has something to do with not feeling as lonely as you might with just the sun in 12th!.!.!.!?

Whenever I see a Saturn with a challenging aspect to the ascendant, I think of early childhood illnesses!. Although the conjunction is not in and of itself considered challenging, it can behave that way!. If the moon is also in challenging aspect to the ascendant, it compounds the illness with emotional stressors!. I bet as a premature infant, it was touch and go for awhile, but you were blessed with compensatory factors that kept you alive - a Sag sun certainly did help, even in the 12th house!.
You must have received excellent medical care!. I can tell by the way you write and express yourself that you are very bright - no cognitive or emotional delays!. I understand the Uranus in the 1st!. I also have it and often feel that I am different and struggle to fit in, but it gives me strength in who I am too!.
