Taurus and materialism?!
Question: Taurus and materialism!?
According to the conventional description of Taurus (Sun) people, they are materialistic!. I'm a Taurus myself and I really don't know what to think of that!. Yes, I like a comfortable bed and a roof over my head!.!.!. doesn't everyone!? I couldn't dream of having a mansion or a million cars or expensive clothes - it's not something I aspire *at all*!. I'm quite the opposite of that!.
Taurus is supposed to get "turned on" by things and ways of handling money and success and whatnot!. I must agree that when my boyfriend comes home and had a lot of success at work, I love that!. I love being proud of my man!. But doesn't everyone!? He could come with only a cardboard box and I would still love him to pieces!.
Are you or do you know a Taurus you can apply the "materialism-theory" to!? Tell me about your experience with Taurus and materialism!?

Taurus is ruled by Venus, so it's nature that they love beautiful and luxurious things!. They are also a feminine sign so of course they want peaceful & beautiful surroundings!.
Maybe you have a Gemini Mercury (which is a sign that doesn't really give a care about materialism) in the 5th house, so all you do is communicate about fun, leisure and things concerning the 5th house!.
Do you have alot of Taurus in your chart!? I have no Taurus in my chart but I'm extremely materialistic!. Weird right!? But my revised chart says I have Taurus Moon!.
I also have Sagittarius North Node in the 2nd house of possessions, values etc, so I have to learn to be more possesive, respecting of my values and even materialistic in this lifetime!.

My b/f is a Taurus and he likes to live nice and look good but I don't think he is materialistic really its nothing frivilous but if he wants something he will just buy it!. Not to the extreme though!. It sounds like a generalization to me!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'm a Taurus anr i totally agree with you, im not materialistic, i jus tlike nice things, and im pretty sure it's not just Tauruses!.also unless your some sick freak, no one gets turned on by money!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I completely agree with you!. Look at a lot of successful ( financial wise) they are taureans!. also Taurus happens to be the most wealthy sign ( 1st or 2nd) i am not sure!. But it is either of those as per some research on the sun signs of most wealthy people!.
Personally speaking i am a taurean and i can harp on being materialistic!. All i can think of is Money, Power, My own Assets, and Enterprise!. An coincidently most of my taurean friends are similar in nature too!.,
I have noticed many times when two taureans talk it will have to be more about ambitions, their own enterprise or the one they wish to float, Money,power, and all about material!. I dont mean to say they only talk about it!. But these topics dominate most of the other topics!.
Personally its also been my own experience!. They are also very very possessive with their things ( material or relationships )
Personal i think this is because taurus is the sign of money and finance in astrology!. This gives it a strong tendency to be very materialistic !.
Their stubborness, Head strong, Powerful will, and the love for material things, and Passion ( for nething ranging skills, arts, power, art) are the things that are the main drivers to this signs!.
