I studied astrology for a number of months, but after I did a friend's chart reading as a test (he knew I was pretty green at it) he became so fascinated that he started studying it too!.!.!. and for the next couple of years we were constantly in touch, either on the phone or in person (this was pre-texting & pre-e-mail)!.!.!.
What I like about bouncing ideas around!.!.!. it helps you look at things from a different perspective!. Even to this day, I learn some new things from every reading I do!.
There may be meetings of astrologers in your area!.!.!. check with the NCGR's website!.!.!. or look to meetup!.com!.!.!. it's a free membership website that helps people organize meetups in their neighborhoods!.!.!. they cover hundreds of topics and list meetings worldwide!. I found a local astrology group four years ago!.!.!.
And if there is none in your area, you can start one!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Nope, not for the basics!. You pretty much have to learn those on your own!. Ideas should be based on actual knowledge!. What good would it do to bounce ideas around with others who don't know much!? There are no shortcuts!. There is no faster way to learn astrology!. You are just going to have to read books if you really want to learn!.

I started learning astrology just with myself for many, many years!. I thought I knew what was "going on"!. But it wasn't until I worked at an astrology software company (loaded w/astrologers), that my mind began to REALLY expand!.
