Would an aries man be affectionate and cuddly with a friend who he was not interested in!?
Example: Spooning while holding hands, kiss you on the forehead, and like to just sleep next you as long as you were touching him someway [non sexually]!.
Why do aries come back after you ignore them for extended amounts of time and try to win you back!?
Example: Leave him alone for 2 - 4 weeks and he keeps popping up asking you about your life and potentially hanging out again!. also offering to treat you out!.
Would an aries man bring you around his family and get their approval of you if it was just casual!?
To meet his grandmother, just after going out on a date, who he adores and thinks highly of!. She thinks your a great girl with a good head on your shoulders and should be kept around!. Great aunt who approves and likes you!.

Aries is not known to be affectionate!. of course there are exceptions to every sign, as well as personalities that deviate from the "norm" of their sign!. But generally speaking, no Aries is NOT affectionate!. In fact it's almost completely the opposite!. If you're looking for affection, you want a water sign: pisces, cancer, or scorpio!.
