Answers:
the above are mostly religious (spiritual), tradition and culture saturated and racial and geographically based!. it requires a different level of understanding!. the easiest for any one to pursue would be the sidereal and western astrology as opposed to its counterpart, middle east and eastern astrology!. there's many books, transcripts available and one can easily claim their 100 yrs of astrology experience!.

it's also theoretical as far there are no sort of 'practices' concerned!. only goes as deep and as serious as you want it to be, without having to bear and fear for certain consequences when not followed!. it is 'open' as in one gets to use their free will and is also free of racial, cultural etc constraints!.

for example, take indian astrology!. it stems from hinduism and they take it religiously as to the stage of finding the right marriage partner and the most auspicious day for a wedding!. they consult their highest priests and priestesses and pray to their gods to get the most compatible partner, set the dates right, etc!. that explains why the only types of questions we see in horoscope sect are about manglik, dosha, sade sadhis, etc!. and if you have noticed, questioners seek answers by addressing 'Sir' as a respectful notion to the knowledgeable!. now, do westerners ever call our 100 yrs of experience astrologers 'sir' or 'madame'!? unless he's british or she's french, dont think so!.

then, take chinese astrology!. there can be a westerner claiming to know in and out of chinese astrology!. fine enough!. but it wouldnt be the same for a chinese person who has been abiding and obliging to their chinese ancestors where the astrology and astronomy is already integrated into their living system, beliefs, superstition and taboos that dictates their way of living!. say, a person born in the year of the pig is expected to bring more luck to his/ her family and therefore the parents would pay more attention to him/ her, granting and spoiling his/ her wishes more often than his/ her ox and goat siblings!. then, another example, wise chinese business firms would be extra cautious with their business dealings in the year of the rat or snake!. they would not make hasty and risky decisions during an allocated time of the year, in fear of great losses!.

as for, egyptian, arabian, babylonian, persian, hellenistic and islamic astrology are basically under the same umbrella and are co related to one another, though not the same things but has progressed to become one basis to the other!. they only differ by purpose of name, the time period or age of their existence!.

the egyptians (one race) is one of the oldest civilization that builds their pyramids by looking at the stars!. they have been accredited as the fathers of astronomy (i think astrology came later)!. then, after but simultaneously, there were the persians (aryans aka macedonians) and arabs (as in the race) lives in the city of babylon (ancient name is mesopotamia- which covers vast amount of land, now better known as iraq, a bit or iran, other arabian countries)!. hellenistic is the much later period where the persians met and influenced the greek civilization!. later, towards the early AD to mid 1300s, comes the religion islam and its glorious ruling period for a several centuries which had produced many famous astrologers- astronomy- avicenna, kindi, battani, etc!. where the science has been adapted to islamic values!. western and sidereal is the offshoot and modernized version from the former of the former, and is somewhat 'new', much comprehensive and widely known through the help of today's mass media communication and advanced technologies!.

while the ancient astrology- babylonian, persian, egyptian (the truest forms are either obsolete, difficult to trace down for all we know or/and has been likely to be the basis to currents like indian, chinese, islamic, western) the closest you can get is to by traveling there and see for yourself or by learning the current ones!.

good luck in finding more! =)Www@Enter-QA@Com
