Question: Another classic Taurus/Leo clash; why is she so competitive!?
I'm a Taurus!. My ex was Leo and we were to say the least a bad match!. I've been friends with a Leo girl for a year and a half, and though we are very different in many ways, I've always enjoyed her friendship and how full of life she is!.
However we're running into a major complication!. My Leo ex and I would have terrible fights because he always insisted on having the last word even if the last word made no sense, which would rub me the wrong way and so our fights were endless!.
Now my Leo friend has always been like this!.!.!. but recently it's been bugging me; she's so damn competitive!. I just get tired of it!. She can not admit it if I am luckier than her, more successful than her, and she certainly can't stand it if I get more attention from men - which happens occasionally and is a mystery to me because I think she's gorgeous!.
Either way, her competitiveness is reaching a level that, to me, is annoying!. At one point there was a guy a while ago who gave me more attention than her, and she kept teasing me because she couldn't stand it!. He and I tried to build something up but it failed and he went abroad!. Now that he's back, I thought I'd give it another shot and just post a nice message on his facebook!.!.!. and my Leo friend does exactly the same, about the exact same subjects, just trying to compete for his attention!. I just want a chance to get to know this guy because we had chemistry at the time and he was interested in me, not in her!.!.!. but she keeps doing stuff like that!. When I give him attention, she makes sure to top it!.
And I'm tired of her competitive behaviour!. How do I deal with her!? I know I have the ability to rub Leo all the wrong way because I'm very Taurean, so advice would be nice!.

I don't know who said Taurus rubs Leos the wrong way because a few of my good friends are Taurus and we don't have any problems!.!.and my best friend of 10 years is a Taurus!. Were actually really fun and outgoing as a match!. Theres never a boring time with us!. But in your situation what you describe shes doing isn't right and is annoying!. There will be competition when theres 2 fixed star signs!. both stubborn, wanting the best in life, strong and determined!.
I would advise you to tell her about it, tell her you have to talk to her about something thats been on your mind for a long time!. I don't think you should keep it in if its really bothering you, just tell her in a good way!. This way she can back down, get out your way still have a decent friendship and get a chance with this guy!.
Remember theres always things we find annoying in people, since people aren't perfect, it's our duties in that friendship to tell the other person what they're doing wrong!. Thats the job of a real friend!.

Im sure if you talk to ur Leo, and buy her something REALLY nice, and give her TONS of compliments, she wil fall in love with you all over again, and be extremely nice to you lol!.!.

ok, leos are always competitive, they have to have things their way or else!. thats how they are, leos cant take the harsh truth of someone being better than them and someone getting more attention than they are!. im virgo and I can smell a leo a mile away!. its not that they are bad and heartless!. they can be good to hang with but not much to trust, because if they see that someone is more successful than they are, leos will find the way to drag you down to be first in place and thats the dangerous part!. they know how to do it and with class as well!. taurus are more down to earth and realistic, even thought they lie to be also somewhat a leader and in control, but not in a harmful way!. taurus has more heart than leos in somethings!. taurus would never come to harm no ones feelings to get to the top, they will work their way up clean and fair, while leo can be a bit of a sneaky snake and befre your eyes they have done something to win their way to the top but regardless of who they brought down to the ground!. so leos are good to call and go out and have a fun time, but not a friend to call in bad times and spill your worries!. I have a very good friend who is taurus and she is very trust worthy person!. l dotn have leos friends, because I try to avoid them, but I do have family who is leo and I have a far of hi and bye relationship, thats how close I can get to a leo!. no offense to leos, but thats my top enemy and they dont like virgos either!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I have had only two friends with a situation like this, one was a Leo (with lots of Leo) and one was an Aries!.
How I resolved this with the Leo friend was when she did something (at the moment she did it) I stopped and asked her why she did it in a calm and sincere way!. Listened to her answer and then learned that it was not about competitiveness!. When I clarified how it came across to me when she did certain things she was surprised!. The problem was resolved!. Basically, it was a misunderstanding!.
The Aries!? I got a weird response that was not honest or sincere - I cut ties since it was not a healthy friendship!.
BTW - the problem had nothing to do with Leo or Aries!.
If you find yourself in an uncomfortable friendship and you cannot clarify and communicate, I would slowly back away and find a friend that is not so competitive or insecure!. Good LuckWww@Enter-QA@Com

i don't think all tauras/leo have a hard time getting along and if the guy likes you then he will choose you so don't sweat the other girl she'll be fine just accept your friend just the way she is maybe she's competive because she likes him too and maybe you girls should let the guy decide if he likes you both or you!. it's really his choice you knowWww@Enter-QA@Com
