Would one cast the horary for the time you first understood the question, or for the time of the future or past event!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

For your own horary, the time you asked yourself the question!.

For someone else, well!.!.!. if they left a message asking the question, uae tht time, If it is in person, that exact moment i athe time!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I agree with what the others have said about what times should be used for casting the chart!.

I've studied horary, but not as much as other types of astrology!. I'm mainly answering your question because a wise (Rosicrucian Order) astrologer once told me that when you have the chart finished, place "your" own natal Saturn or the "question asker's" natal Saturn into the chart!. For instance, my natal Saturn is 1° Virgo, so I would look to see where it lands in the horary chart!. This Saturn placement is said to be what is at the heart of your question or the other person's question!. Where this becomes important is if you are not fully aware of what all is motivating your question, or to become more aware of your question asker's motivations and intentions!. I've found this tip to be very interesting when I have done horary charts!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

For a specific event!? You mean in planning a wedding or best time to purchase a house!? This is different!.!.best to use a book on this for guidelines and the best placements depending on the event!. I have done one like this for a wedding - it can be perplexing, but they do have programs that will automatically pull this up (the best dates/times) if you can indicate what you are looking for!.

Yes, or no questions that are asked!? (this is different)
It is the moment you completely "understand" the question asked!. You note the time and date this happens and pull up the chart and read the answer (yes/no)Www@Enter-QA@Com

When the question first enters your mind, or when first spoken!. When you erect the chart, it will show the problem, the background of the problem, and the final outcome or answer!. You use the time it first entered your mind, or spoke of it, or wrote it!. But if it's coming from another person who asks you, if they do not remember when the question occurred to them, go by the time they first asked you, or left a message on your answering machine, or mails you a letter, erect the chart for their lat and longitude, but go by the time and date YOU first heard the question!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
