Is anyone familiar with other types of astrology!?
I mean, I know there is Vedic, Chinese, and so on!.!.!.!.anyone care to give a link or a brief description of other types of astrology!?
I know there is also a Native American astrology (not sure how old or accurate it is!?)!.!.!.and the Mayan Zodiac!.!.!.!.!.anyone care to share information and knowledge!?

Japanese Astrology is called Kigoku and is nearly similar to chinese, but has a Japanese slant!. I like it!. I will be learning more about it, since I'm headed to Japan!
All ancient cultures had elaborate astrological systems - and the main function of ancient astrology was primarily to tell the time! calculate the seasons, the holidays, etc!. and secondarily to make predictions!.
Basically all ancient astrological systems, from Mayan to Nordic to Vedic to Chinese - are all LUNAR based systems, utilizing 27 or 28 divisions of the zodiac (not the 12 divisions based on the sun)!. There is one division for each part of the zodiac that the moon travels through in the span of one day!.
The Vedic system is solar-lunar, and untilizes both the 27 lunar signs and the 12 solar signs!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Wikpedia goes into a lot of detail about the types of astrology!. There has not been any know testing that compares the various types for accuracy!. Testing astrology for accuracy may show that it isn't, so astrologers stick to belief instead!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
