yes, I believe it has an affect on me as much as western astrology, except that western one is more detailed and I can learn more from it, but Chinese one applies as well!.

well sort of!. mine is the goat/sheep and it's suppose to be the equivalent of cancer sign so it does fit me!. Cancer is my rising sign!. I would rather have a differnt animal for my chinese!.!.!.!.like the tiger or rabbit :)
