I don't think signs matter when it comes to sports!. What does help tremendously is if you have Mars in a powerful position in your chart!. Many athletes have Mars in the 1st, 4th, 7th, or 10th house of their charts called angular houses!. Mars in the 10th house close to the mid heaven is very powerful (Tiger Woods)!.
