Could someone explain to me the significance of the midheaven in a birth chart and the planets in it please!?
More specifically, what would a Taurus midheaven with the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter in it mean!?

The Midheaven (or MC) is the line running up and down the middle of your chart!. The bottom half is called the Nadir or the IC!.
The MC is the line itself!. It serves as the cusp of the tenth house in most versions of astrology!. This line and the tenth house in general, is where one looks for information about a person's career and public life!. Wit a Taurean MC, it suggests a steady and consistent career, if all else in the chart agrees with it!. I am guessing you are trying to say the Sun, Merc, Venus & Jupiter are all in the tenth house!? Or do you mean they are all on top of your MC!?
Roughly, when the Sun, Mercury & Venus are in the tenth house, it makes you a public person!. It doesn't have to mean you are a leader, but you are public!. The Mercury & Venus up there could imply good speaking & writing and communication abilities, with grace and charm added in with the Venus!.
