I think it works rather well--I know of several gem and cancer marriages!.
Although the twins are flighty/inconsistent, I've often noticed that they will behave themselves a lot more (b/c they actually want to), when in the company of the motherly/nurturing cancer!.
Maybe it's b/c the cancer is the sign after gem (and you know that next sign blah blah stuff), or perhaps it's b/c the cancer effectively dispels the gem's fear of abandonment!. And perhaps gem's have that fear more than most--b/c they are often a double dose of the usual!.

From my experience he wasnt deep enough for me!. He was playful lighthearted and too busy being a social butterfly to even realize when things were wrong!. Happy go lucky basically!. But they are very fun he always did know how to put a smile on my face!. But depending on your and his moon and venus and mars placement you guys may be very compatible!.
