Question: Shouldn't having Aquarius as an Ascendent help to balance out a Crab!?
It's funny having Cancer Sun, Aquarius rising!. Water and air create storms!. Anywho, I would think that having the Aquarius rising would help me to understand the nature of the air signs but I don't!. On the surface I am very blunt and extremely friendly and social!. I pick up friends very easily and crack jokes and can work a room!. I have an interest in people in general and I'm an idealist!. When a person asks for advice I will give them an answer completely from my head (sometimes brutally honest) and then the Cancer will kick in and start dissecting the emotional elements!. Finally, the Scorpio moon comes into play and thinks up ways to even the score for the person who has been afflicted!. LOL What ways can having Aquarius rising help to balance out my emotional and passionate nature!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Oh I think it helps balance out your social circles more so than anything!. Just as you described you crack jokes and pull in a lot of friends, that is the Aquarius nature!. Even though I find Aquarius' to be shy (mostly the ones born in January) they all seem to find their circle of friends that they can relate to!.
Even though as you described water and air create storms!. That is not always the case, I am a Cancer (my rising is Sag) but I find that I have most fun with Aquarius and are drawn to them more than any other sign, I know Aquarius is our link of life and I do find that they take care of me when I need them!. But I think that with the right influences on a persons charts that the Crab & Water Bearer can be a great couple!. Okay I know I just got off subject, but you should balance out, its not like because you have an Aquarius your not going to get along with your self if that was the case then there would be a lot more nut cases out here!. You may need to check your venus, I'm guessing that some Air signs have hurt you, you know that they are more intellecutal than emotional, and your venus may reflect as to why despite your Aquarius rising you haven't connected with some of them!.
