I told my best friend (he's a Cancer) that I've been in a good mood lately because I started hanging out with this guy (completely platonic, with my best friend, and the guy!.)!. But like he's started to say snide little things!. For instance, yesterday over text he asked what I was doing and I told him "Hanging out with Jake and Lauren" (Jake being the new guy) and he was like "Cool!. So is your mom downstairs!?" insinuating I was lying about even doing something!. Another time he asked what I was doing and I said that I was about to go swimming because there was no one to hang out with and he said "Guess Jake has a life!.!.!.!.your real friends would never have a world outside of texting you 24/7"

He isn't your friend, period!. Sounds like he doesn't like you very much, or he has big time feelings for you and is lashing out because you're not interested in him!.
