WHAT IS YOUR SIGN PLEASE!
Do you simply read from a book to provide your answers!? Do you answer from memory of what you know to be true and researched!? Do you answer only from everyday experience!? Do you do a combination, if so of what!? Do any of you have a degree or have studied astrology in a formal academic environment!? How many of you just say what you THINK and have nothing to back it up!?

I am capricorn!. I have read at borders books about astrology for a good set of years now!. i dont have any degree or formal education!. and I dont use personal experience as an information source, but i use it for examples when needed!. How about you guys!?

I have 20+ years of experience as a professional astrologer (on the side!.!.!. not full time)!.!.!. with over 300 chart readings for clients under my belt!.!.!. so I answer from memory, but I am always reading and consulting books!.!.!.

i use books and my own prsonal belief system to answer questions!. i have strong critical thinking abilities and am able to analyze and understand things that are under the surface pretty well!. i also observe and try to use common sense, and try backing up my answers by using examples or basing it on a person or experience i have had!. It depends on the question that I'm answering!. I am not an experienced astrologer, and I still have a lot to learn!. I understand more about my own signs and aspects than the others in general, but I do like to analyze people's charts and try to understand them better!. If it's a question about myself, then I have no problem answering with my own experience and knowledge, but when it is about someone else, I make sure that I have the proper sources to back it up, or I won't answer!. I like to surf the internet and read up about all of the planets and houses and find out a bit more about what they mean, and I have also read a number of books!.!.!.However, I have found too many books in the libraries to be Sun sign biased which I don't care for!. There are good astrology books out there that are more in depth, but right now I don't have the money to get my hands on one!. So I normally answer with as much knowledge as I have at hand, and sometimes I answer from the heart!. I realize that birth charts are so complicated that you can never make generalizations, and that there are also a number of psychological influences to take into consideration!.!.!.!.Sometimes I just relate things to my own experience, and do my best to look through the asker's eyes, and try to help ease the problem!. If it is a question about love, I always assure them that the heart will do the guiding, and that anything can work if you care!. That's my honest opinion, that there are no rules written in stone!. Astrology is an excellent tool, and can tell you a lot, but I don't let it decide my fate, or pick my loved ones!. I think that ultimately, we decide our own fate, and choose who we want to be!. So I try to answer within the bounds of astrology, while affirming that the mind and heart can still guide you in any direction if you have the will to follow them!.
Actually!.!.!.Lately, I've been trying to not get so involved in my questions!.!.!.I often become a bit emotionally attached to them, and feel a strong need to get my point across, or help the user!. I feel very angered if I am not understood!.!.!.And sometimes I get all upset and angry just over a simple question, haha!.

Scorpio sun with Aquarius rising!. Leo stellium in the 7th (Moon, Pluto, Jupiter)!. Libra stellium in the 8th(Mercury, Neptune, Mars)!. Scorpio stellium in the 9th, (Sun, Saturn, Part of fortune for those who use it) Venus exact trine Uranus and exact conjunct to the midheaven!.!. Moon/Mars Septile to top it off!.!.
Studied under Sophia Mason for years, and March and McEvers!. also studied for years with the Rosicrucians!. Was a member of AFA for years until the dues got too high!. A member of NCGR until dues got too high!. Studied everything I could by Ivy Goldstein-Jacobsen, Evangeline Adams, Edgar Cayce, Ptolemy (Tetra Biblos), Nostradamus!. Read every book there is by the "masters," meaning, not your coffee table crap!. Heck, I still know how to calculate a chart by hand without the computer generated stuff!. But I am more of an intuitive astrologer!. I can have a chart in front of me, but I feel it more, although a chart does aid me!. My best teacher ( God rest her soul), taught me, learn the basics: the meanings of the signs, houses, placements, the aspects!. Because whether natal or transiting or progressed, they all mean the same!. Learn the basics well and you will have no need for books!. She was right!. Delineation thru correlation!. I now only buy and read books out of curiosity to add to my library!. But I no longer loan them out as too many forget to return them or "lost" them, they claim!. It cost me over $60 to replace a book by Ivy that I originally purchased for $14!. Anyway, I've yet to learn anything new from them!. Books are general, you need to look at the entire person!. You will not get that from a book!. So when I answer, it's based on 40 years of experience and "intuition," and studying under the best!.
also, and not to offend, but you can study for years, much like you can study to play the violin for years, but if it's not a natural aptitude, all the studying in the world won't make you a virtuoso, any more than reading every astrology book will make you an astrologer!. I see too many on here that are "top contributor" but yet ask basic astrology questions!. And I am aghast at how they can possibly give advice and be top contributor when they don't even understand very basic, basic, astrology, but copy or paste or give websites!. Another argument for "Please Yahoo, give us a real astrology section instead of entertainment horoscopes!?"Www@Enter-QA@Com
