Theres this guy, and I've been talking to him for about a year and half!. He is a scorpio with a pisces moon, and I'm a capricorn with a leo moon!. He tells me that he needs me, he wants me to be his friend forever, that I am cute and sweet , and our relationship has even been sexual, with his quiet insistence!.!.!. but after a year and a half, he still won't commit!. He genuinely does not have ANYONE else in his life, relationship wise that is similar to the relationship him and I have!.!.!.12 years ago, he broke up with a girl, and she commited suicide!.!.!.he said that he never wants to hurt another girl again, and I tell him that being with me "half-way" hurts, and he feels bad about that, but still won't commit!.!.!.!.

I think he enjoys the accoutrements of your relationship now as it is!. No amount of hoping he would turn a corner or change his mind about committment is going to help!. He has laid it out for you, he doesn't want to hurt another girl again, and is holding onto that security blanket of an excuse in order to still have you as a "cute, sweet and sexual friend", all the while you are on a different path!. He isn't on that path, and the sooner you make peace with that, and decide what YOU want, then you can move forward!. also, he must not feel too *badly* about only giving you 1/2 way measures if he continues doing it!.
