The individuality is more apparent to those closer contact , arm-in-arm as it were, and develop through misfortune in a way, difering from the Sun in angular houses where contact withother people in rather detached, there they lend you a hand, but here you lend them a hand!.

It is said not to be as strong, but in my experience that has not proven to be the case!. I've studied charts of famous persons and I was surprised how many have 6th house suns!. I think in some cases this is because the sun is trine to the 2nd house and the midheaven!.
I've seen quite a few writers, songwriters, producers and screenwriters with 3rd or 9th house suns!.

When the terminology was first started and given the name cadent, it meant something different than it does in modern times!. Like someone else said, cadent works behind the scenes!. In that way it has it's own strength!.
I've always thought that saying a Sun is not strong in a cadent house is a misnomer!. The opposite of strong is weak!. If an individual is a doctor, teacher or volunteer worker, by no means is that "not strong"!.
