Answers:
Aspects tell us how the planets relate to each other!. Without looking at the aspects in a chart, you're looking at the players on the stage only listening to the monologues and missing the dialogue between the characters!. The major aspects used are:

Conjunction: 2 (or more) planets 0 deg!. apart!. Conjunctions indicate fused energy between the planets involved!. They don't express themselves independently, they express themselves as one!.

Opposition: planets 180 deg!. apart!. Oppositions represent energies which are at odds with each other within the individual's birth chart!. The planets involved in the opposition are involved in a sort of tug-of-war, both wanting to move in completely opposite directions (go figure)!. Balance between these influences can be achieved by compromise from both sides!.

Square: planets 90 deg!. apart!. A tense aspect, the objects involved are in conflict with each other and unlike the opposition, cannot be harmoniously resolved!. Squares are energetic aspects, though, and the conflict can be the catalyst which spurs the native forward towards action!.

Trine: planets 120 deg!. apart: A harmonious aspect!. Objects in trine with each other work together!.!.!.!.well harmoniously!. They're aspects of the individual's personality which mesh well together!. They're easy to take for granted, though!.

Sextile: planets 60 deg!. apart!. Another harmonious aspect, similar to trine, but not as powerful!.

Those'll get you started, anyhow:)Www@Enter-QA@Com

i dunno!. my arrogant self tells me it can't really be that important, as because it never plays a role when I guess a person's starsign, etc!. I'm getting better!. I'm now able to guess people's moonsign!. So, whether people say sunsign is the biggest influence or not, if that's the one I can spot a mile off, it has to be a pretty big influence!. I've never had to deal with "nodes" or "trines"!. Or maybe I am, and just don't know it!. :D

Somebody answer this! I wanna know too!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'm not sure what your list is showing - It LOOKS like natal placements coupled with transits or progressions!. It COULD be TWO people's placements - it just isn't clear!.

The horoscope is a 360 degree circle!. When one planet is trine another, they are 120 degrees apart ( sextile 60 degs, square 90, opposition 180) - the TYPE of aspect shows how the ENERGY of the two planets is applied; the houses show when and whereWww@Enter-QA@Com

"aspects" are the glances that planets cast on one another!.

Think of it this way!.!.!. you have a basic personality, but when you hang out with your dad or something, you act a lot different than when you hang out with some of your crazier girlfriends, right!? Similarly, a planet has a basic personality but if it is the company of other planets it starts to act like them a little bit!.

All planets can "hang out with" (aspect or glance on) the planets across the sky from them (7 houses away)!. Jupiter, Saturn and Mars aspect an additional two houses!.

The Western system of aspecting is more complex than the Vedic system, but this basic description fits for both!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

There are various affects on personality from the angles of the relationships!. A good astrology book or a site like Astrology!.com explains these effects in more detail!.

The "Big 3" are Sun, Moon, Ascendant!. So you are a Cancer, Scorpio, Aquarius!. It is like a "Cancerian light" being focussed through a "Scorpio lens" onto an "Aquarius screen"!.

I do charts to find relationship matches for my friends!. Roughly speaking I would say your best match would be a Pisces Sun, Cancer Moon, with an Ascendant also Aquarius or Libra!. With Venus and/or Mars maybe being Libra, or Pisces!.

This is how I found my wife 5 years ago and never had a regret from the day we met!.

Find a "personals" site (like Yahoo Personals, or Lavalife) that shows the member's signs and communicate with them and find out their birthdate and time if possible to get those features mentioned above for aspects!. If you don't want to pay to search those on the web then there are a lot of good "beginners" books to get the charts to look up the aspects!. Looking for a Pisces should be easy to get that info as Pisces is more into astrology stuff than others!.

Btw, Cancer Sun, Scorpio Moon, I would say you are looking for a VERY commited partner!. But be careful of the Leo Venus/Mars as that could be a little more public and showy of the relationship than a Pisces is comfortable with!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The Aspects

1 Conjunction
2 Trine
3 Opposition
4 Square
5 Sextile

The 120 degree aspect, called a Trine, and the 60 degree aspect, called the Sextile, are said to be harmonious, smooth, bringers of benefits, to be benefic!.

The 90 degree aspect, called the Square, and the 180 degree aspect, called the Opposition, are claimed to have stressful effects and be malefic!.

The zero degree aspect, called the Conjunction, varies in its effect with the nature of the planets involved

The Trine: Planets in trine support each other!. Trines, by nature, are accepting!. They allow us to accept others, ourselves, and situations!. The talents that trines offer a native are so natural that they are almost unconscious!. Often enough, natives don't truly appreciate the talents these trines offer them, and they may not try to develop them!. However, these talents are second nature and completely natural!. So, for example, if a man has Venus trine Neptune, he may be poetic, romantic, or artistic, and he may easily accept his romantic partner for who he/she is!. Another man with Venus square Neptune may have similar qualities, and may possess a strong desire to accept his partner blindly, but doing so is not as natural as the first man!. He has to work on it, and might come up against difficult situations in which he feels duped or abused by his partners as a result of that acceptance!.

The Sextile: The sextile is often read quite like a trine, although there is a distinction between the two aspects!. Sextiles, like trines, point to some talent and ease!. However, sextiles have a little more "oomph" to them!. While trines come so naturally to people that they might have to be reminded of their own talents or tendencies, sextiles are a little more overt to the native!. These are the talents that people appreciate in themselves!. They may be more inclined to notice and work on these talents!. Sextiles are communicative and relationship-friendly aspects!. They point to energies that are capable of being directed!. Sextiles reveal the potential for intelligent use of the energies!.

JUPITER TRINE NEPTUNE - The trine aspect between Jupiter and Neptune indicates that you are something of an idealist!. You are aware of social issues and the environmental problems that the world faces, and you feel that these problems can only be solved through some form of shift in the mass consciousness to incorporate new philosophical and/or religious ideals!. You feel intuitively that there is more to life than meets the eye, that subtle or spiritual forces are at work to shape our destiny, and you feel the need to understand the nature of these forces at some level!.

You have an easy-going nature, but if you follow your natural inclination to go with the crowd you could often find yourself in circumstances that you would rather have avoided!. Seeing the best in everybody leaves you open to being deceived and let down, but you are usually able to pick yourself up again, and you find that a helping hand is usually available when you need it most!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
