I'm always the chaser!. I've never been pursued, and I've never been the chasee!. I am not unattractive--that's not it-- I think I scare the crap out of some men, actually!. My former beaus have told me that they would have never had the courage to approach me at a bar because I look so happy, confident, and social, and they would have been afraid of getting shot down, as they assumed I was taken!. But when I make the first move, they're totally for it! The men with whom I've been involved have always fallen for me, and they enjoyed being chased by me!. They all thought it was exciting and sexy to have a confident woman be the aggressor for once! But inevitably, once I've captured my proverbial prey, my partner tends to be the one who has to chase me in the long term!. They become the one who demands more stability and constant love, whereas I get bored!.!.!.!. well, I don't get bored, I just "level off" between the hot and heavy, and the smooth ride!.
I'm a fire sign (Aries) and I've chased the following men, in this order, all of which have resulted in long-ish relationships:
Virgo (I was the chaser for the first 6 months; it lasted 1 1/2 years, then on and off for another year!. I broke off the relationship!.)
Sagittarius (I was the chaser for the first 3 months; it lasted 7 months, on and off, I broke off the relationship)
Scorpio (I was the chaser for the first 4 months; it lasted 8 months; I broke off the relationship and nearly had to get a restraining order)
Virgo (I was the chaser for all 4 months of this relationship; he broke it off!.!.!.and tried to win me back 3 1/2 years later after I was happily involved with someone else!.)
Sagittarius (I was the chaser for the first 3 months, it was tough because he was deployed and we had to do long distance, which did not work!. Then he chased me!.!.!.and I lost interest!. It breaks my heart because I broke his!.I really thought we were soul mates!.)
Gemini: (I chased him for the first 6 months, until his ex was fully out of the picture!. Then the tables turned, and he had to chase me as I was losing interest!.!.!.he was involved in some shady business and I was hesitant!. He was not a good chaser, thank God!. The relationship lasted 1 1/2 years!.)
Pisces (I married him! I was the chaser for the first year, then we became equals!. Now he chases me just a little bit, and I chase him back!. ;) )
So, it looks earth and water signs are more than often the chasees!. :)

Edited to add: while growing up, I never knew that there were social constructs and sex roles that dictated things like this!. I never felt any less feminine for being the chaser!. I saw nothing wrong with it!. My father was a conservative alarmist, and he always taught me to go after what I wanted, ferociously, because I cannot depend on anyone else but me!. lol I obviously parlayed this "advice" into the relationship sector!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yep! And when I was in a relationship my boyfriend would do that if I wasn't giving him enough attention but I was doing it deliberately just to tease him a little, the more I played hard to get the more he showed love and affection!. But he would also do the same thing and I would be the one chasing after him, it was like we were taking turns!. I think it's fun, it gives the relationship a bit of excitement!
But if I'm not in a relationship, the guys chase after me, I'm pretty hard to get ha ha lol!.!.!.!. But if I see a guy that I really fancy then I'm the one chasing after him and I'm not embarrassed because I do it with the confidence!. And the guy sees me as a real deal!. I'm not a shy person when I like you!. I'll show you!.

I've noticed that in a long term relationship this is actually a continuum!. One chases the other first!. The other plays hard to get!. Then they get together!. Then the other one starts playing hard to get, and the other one chases THEM!. And it's a cute little game that couples play with each other to keep things fresh and exciting!.
