Question: What Book/Novel relates to you the most!?
For me:The catcher in the rye, yea I know i'm not 14 but I've read it 4x and I first got in contact with it in highschool, my teacher made us read it, and I got hooked!. I related to it so much, and it became my favorite all time book!. I own it so I'm hoping to read it for the 5th time LOL!

the books that most relate to me would be anything by nicholas sparks!. THE CHOICE, THE NOTEBOOK, and A WALK TO REMEMBER being a notable few!.
first, nicholas sparks just knows how to get into your head!. he comes up with characters that are most like the reader!. even down to their thoughts, actions, feelings, or how they handled things; they just always remind me what i would do or say!.
secondly, the setting of the book, THE CHOICE particularly, was also highly personable to me!. i had always dreamed of living on the east coast, (where the book is set) on a beach in north carolina!. the setting of the book automatically made me feel comfortable with the surroundings, which also helped with the imagery in my mind!.
thirdly, nicholas sparks knows how to evoke emotion, and penetrate the soul!. i already had felt as i had become one of these characters he had created!. anything he wrote, i felt was happening to me personally!. anything-- good or bad-- created a string of riveting emotions that i felt as the characters had in the book!. i seldom cry, however, his books have made me weep!

My all time favorite book has to be "Tandia" written by Bryce Courtenay! I love this book!.!.!. I actually cried over it!. Like real tears!. It's so painful to read and yet I wanted to go on!. And each page I flipped, I became so engaged in the character, I became her!. I felt her pain, her cry for help, I felt her vulnerability when she was brutalised and raped by the police and yet she was able to overcome it!.!.!. I just felt myself being there!. I was sunked into the scene, to me it almost became a reality!. After reading the book I felt strong and empowered as a young women
My mother said I shouldn't read the book again if it's going to make me cry the way I did!.!.!.lol But she doesn't understand the emotions I had when reading the book, I understood the character so well!. It was amazing and yet sad!.

I really like Shogun by James Clavell!. I can't really relate to it, though!. I also like the Good Earth by Pearl S!. Buck and love the Harry Potter series!.
My personal Favorite ( and one I can relate to) Is Alice in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll!.
Lewis Carroll is actually a num- de- plume!. His real name was Charles Lutwidge Dodgson and his real profession was as a Sicnietest!. He was an Aquarian and that's why I think I can relate to the books so much!.
also, My favorite Astrology book is Sun Sugns by Linda Goodman!. Her books( although outdated) are the best I've read - and that's saying a lot because she was an Aries :)

It's about how technology can set you free, as well as **** you over!. Best book I've read since the His Dark Materials series!. I recommend it to any tech-savvy teens or other people!.
