When looking at a person's Ascendant, why do you also look at the Ascenadant!
Question: When looking at a person's Ascendant, why do you also look at the Ascenadant's ruling planet!?
For example, I have my ascendant in Capricorn, but on one website, it named celebrities with Capy Risings , and beside it, the ruling planet!. This is the list:
Sophia Loren (Capricorn Ascendant, Saturn in Aquarius)
Catherine Deneuve (Capricorn Ascendant, Saturn in Gemini)
Carmen Electra (Capricorn Ascendant, Saturn in Gemini)

It profoundly affects it!. Someone with Taurus rising and Venus in Pisces is going to come across a lot different than someone with Taurus rising and Venus in Scorpio!.
Look at two of your examples, Sophia Loren and Carmen Electra!. Loren in her prime was best known as a dramatic actress, which suits a woman who has a strong Saturn in Aquarius ruling the ASC!. Carmen Electra is known for her roles in parody movies - comedies - both more fitting for Mercury ruled Gemini!. Saturn is your ruling planet though not necessarily the dominant one!.
Saturn will be colored by the sign it is in and its house placement will show where you are most concerned with since Saturn is the ruler!.
Ex!.!.!. if Saturn is in 2nd house, you will be concerned about financial matters in your life!. It will make you economical, and stingy , tending to accumulate for a rainy day sort of!.
