I know in the US it is the 9th month, 3rd day
but in other parts of the world it is read as the 9th day of the 3rd month

Lol!. Don't feel stupid, I used to have that same problem a lot, still do sometimes even!. Why do they have to make it so difficult!?
Well, usually it's month, day, then year lately I've noticed!. So that would be the 9th month, (September), the 3rd day, and the year 2008!. This!.!.!.year!.!.!. Lol!.

Different countries write it differently!. In America we would say that is September 3rd, 2008!. I've seen some Eropean countries that would say that that's March 9th, 2008!. That's why I don't write it like that, because it confuses people!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
