Good choice! The foremost medieval astrologer in the US today is Robert Zoller!. He's studied the subject in depth and has come to the conclusion that astrology hit its peak in the middle ages and perhaps Renaissance!. While this is arguable, Zoller and others knowledgeable in the field can make a strong case for their side!.

My advice is to do whatever you can to get modern astrology out of your head!. Yeah I know that's impossible, but since you can't do that, keep it in mind that the mindset or world view that made medieval astrology what it was is profoundly different than the world view you and I and everyone else holds today!.

The chart does not deal exclusively with personality, and psychological issues the way we look at them!. They didn't blame their parents for everything!. The chart deals with events in the life to a greater extent than modern astrology and deals with the psychology of the native, but in a manner entirely different than modern astrology!. Medievalists were concerned with good moral character and consequently they are more likely to be what we would call "judgmental!." But their object wasn't to explain away all the native's faults!. The object was to identify them!. Perhaps he would use his free will to improve!.

You'll learn all sorts of new techniques, the parts or lots as they are more accurately called, antiscion, proper use of the fixed stars, maybe even pre-natal eclipses and primary directions!. You'll dump the outer planets, asteroids, hypothetical planets, and the minor aspects!. You'll see astrology in a whole new way!.

The texts are not easy to read at first!. Push yourself!. The more you read, the easier it will become!. Read those texts with a pad and pen at your side!. I found it helpful, and still do, to try and rewrite confusing sentences in contemporary English in order to fully grasp the author's intent!. These authors had their prejudices and are not afraid to show them!. They also made mistakes!.

Keep in mind that language changes over the centuries!. Some of the words used by the translators may not mean the same thing they do today, or the original author meant one thing and the translator used a modern word that isn't quite what the author had in mind, but the translator didn't know that!. The word "jovial" comes to mind!. It's a nice easy word to translate from Latin to English, but in the middle ages it meant something different than it does today!. Today we'd think of Santa Claus, while the medievalist was thinking of a dignified nobleman!.

Most importantly, have fun with it!. If the delineation says the native will be torn apart by wild animals in a public square, so be it!. Look for a metaphor that will explain it in contemporary life!. Learn about how astrology was viewed in the middle ages and the differences between the Arabic school and the Latin school!. It's lifetime labor of love and I sincerely hope you enjoy it forever!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I link both past and present Astrology together!.

Sorry, but I don't really get what Medieval Astrology is but all these while, I've been linking the Greek Mythology and Present Astrology together!.

When it comes to Astrology, do not read books!. Why!? Every second, every minute, you're OUTDATED!. One's characteristics are shown so much more obviously by observing them!.

Do not be afraid to approach them and ask for their sign!. It's a process of learning one's behaviour!.

Oh yea, Greek Mythology is the best way to understand Astrology from the past!. ;)Www@Enter-QA@Com
