This is something my parents actually want me to do! Arranged Marriages are pretty common in my culture (Middle Eastern)!. My parents had one, so did my grandparents and so on!. But it isnt like you are forced to marry someone, its more like: You're set up with someone, and if you like each other, then the families start getting to know each other and hanging out (and trying not to hate each other) ;) Its KIND OF like a blind date but a little more family involvement!.
Me, personally, Im not planning my wedding or anything like that yet!. I dont even know what I wanna do next week!.!.!.But i still think arranged marriage is too much like planning out your future, and i see love/dating/marriage as something that should be passionate and unplanned and a natural attraction or connection!. I dont know if i'd feel that way if my parents know the guy even before i do :) It would be too awkward!. And Im an Aquarius =)Www@Enter-QA@Com

I would rather live by myself than marry through an arranged marriage, but then again, I understand those who do marry this way because I try to put myself in their shoes!. There maybe various intricate factors involved, such as family pressure or upbringing

i would if everyone else in our family did it!.!.!.i mean, i would at least meet the person and hope for the best but if i didnt feel it inside, i wouldn't!.!.!.!.it'd be real tough to let my family down, but i'd hope they'd still be proud of me regardles of what i did!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
