Okay, so what we're dealing with here would be: your emotional nature, that which expands you, that which restricts you, your capacity to shock/ingenuity, and how you love/where you find beauty!. This is going to start out sounding bad, but I promise, it gets better:) I would say first off that your mother/women related to your mother are/have been somewhat of a dampening and stifling influence on you!. Your emotional nature is at odds with your capacity to grow as a person!. Your capacity to love is restricted, and this restriction is at disharmony with your emotional nature and that which helps you to grow, and holds you back from taking advantage of those opportunities which would move you further in your evolution!. Sometimes, unexpected events can occur which shake you up emotionally, and set you back in your progress!.
You've been ambitious this time around!.
What you've got here is an aspect pattern called a grand cross!. Basically, what you've decided to do this lifetime is sort through all of this tension and opposition for one of three reasons, depending upon which quality the planets are in: cardinal, fixed, or mutable!.
If your grand cross is in cardinal signs/houses, then you're working on identity!. All of the planets will try to express themselves simultaneously, and all in opposing directions, leading to potential identity crises (well, what is it that I really want/need!? Who am I!? Which of these influences most accurately represent the person that I am!?) Cardinal grand crosses want to *go*!. None of the planets wants to wait for any of the others, they all want their own agendas being served first!. This can lead to frustration of the individual, as it would appear that no matter which direction they're going in, there's always something in their way/holding them back/at odds with their self expression!.
If in fixed signs/houses, then you're looking at self worth, (Which of these things that I value is the most important!?) Fixed signs are slow to take action, but once they do, they're difficult to stop!. This individual needs to find a balance between the planets involved which allows for equal consideration to be given to all of the things which the individual finds to be of worth within themselves, rather than expressing some of the energies more dominantly than others, which would in effect be neglecting some aspects which the individual deems valuable to themselves!. Care is required to make sure that this doesn't happen, because as I said, once fixed signs get moving, they're hard to stop, so if emphasis is placed on one or two planets in the configuration, instead of giving equal emphasis to all, it's that much harder to correct things!.
Mutable grand crosses have to do with reasoning and staying focused!. With this one, the individual has to learn to stay focused on their ideas and ideals when faced with resistence to them, instead of becoming scattered!.
They're challenging aspects, but you wouldn't have chosen to do this if you weren't capable of it!.
