It takes me no more than a week usually!. There have been times though that I'm been really emotionally involved and it's taken a whole month!. On the average though, I usually listen to nothing but sad songs and watch sad movies for the first few days to cry my eyes out!. When I'm out of tears, I then start listening to upbeat love songs and forcing positive thoughts into my head!. At that point, I'm looking forward to moving on and I'm excited at the prospect of meeting someone new!.
As far as if I would get back with that person, I never have in the past!. However, my Scorpio ex and I have become really good friends since we broke up over a year ago, mainly because of his effort!. Although, I'm kind of hesitant of getting back into a relationship with him, everytime I talk to him I always consider giving him another chance!. My Venus in Capricorn keeps me cautious though and my guard is still up a little!. I mean he's really sweet to me now but there's a part of me that wonders if that's just a cover to get me back!. If things start waning or I get bored or if I suspect the other person is getting bored, I just kind of wander away and don't think much of it again!. No drama, no arguments, just carry on with life! Well I am a pisces with my moon and venus in aries, so for me a break up is the easiest part,because once I depart a relationship it feels like an oppurtunity for a new adventure!.
But Breaking up is the hard part because I don't want to hurt the other person feelings!.

i don't usually do the break up!.im cautious about who i like and if i ever do get into a relationship i want to make sure that i'll be the one to break it off, and if i do get heartbroken i usually recover in or maybe around 4-6 days becuz i know that they don't deserve me and that they don't know what amazing things i can do!. all i need to do is know that they are not good enough for me!.and if they are the ones that broke up with u they are idiots and that he/she is not good enough!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I have to second the sentiments of Just Smile!. I am a Sadge (don't know my Venus sign--have to find out what time I was born to get the other particulars right!?) well anyway (sorry for the segue lol) I'd honestly say that it all depends on how long the relationship was, how much effort I put in to try to make it work, how deep I allowed my feelings to run and if I think that the break-up was more my fault then it was his or vice versa!.
I usually look back at the different scenarios and if I conclude that the person was "at fault" then I won't fret over it too long!. If I see where I was the one who was "at fault" then I will feel awful about it for a very long time!. If they forgive me and don't harbor resentment then I can move along no problem but if they continue hurt and I see where I was at fault then I will feel badly about it :-(
Once I am forgiven or once I forgive myself then I can get over it almost immediately afterwards--it's kind of a joint venture for me which stinks sometimes!.

I have only been in one relationship before, and it was a very complicated one at that!. We never really had a beginning or end!. It started over 5 years ago, and to this day I still don't know if it's over!. But I find it hard to get attached or care about people, but when I do develop feelings, they never seem to go away!. Even if I try to move on and know in my heart that this person is wrong for me, I can't completely let go!.

Well, it depends on how long was the relationship, how deep a connection you both had However, it depends on the person really!. Personally, I took it day by day and I found like around the second week I was doing better and better!. I am back with the person and I did not initiate it, I just couldn't shake him!.!.lol! I "think" I recover from it quickly!.!.!. if there's a new guy I meet, but in reality my Sagittarius Rising is covering and hiding (even from myself, most times) :( and it pisses me off b/c having a Scorpio Moon and some what Scorpio influence with the Scorpio/Sag Sun cusp!. Emotionally it takes me a while to recover even though I act like and talk like I'm having fun and could do without them!.!.!.
