Well I think it is nice to believe beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but if that were really the case people would not give as much importance to it!. Everyone has preferences of beauty, to say otherwise is dilution!. I think some people are just more accepting and find more people beautiful than others, but this is why if you see someone with a smokin' body and/or face (men and women do this) you react!. It's human nature!.
As for astrology giving clues on beauty, it all relates back to what I said!. Everyone has different opinions on beauty!. I may be the most attractive guy in the world to some, and to others, a hideous person!. So is it relevant!? Who knows really, though it is odd in some cases!. You will see a person who many many people consider beautiful!. Take Angelina!. I personally will admit, she is not that pretty to me!. But many people find her attractive, a universal feeling!. So, the venus influence can give general beauty, but nothing gaurantees you are beautiful (or ugly for that matter) to all!. Maybe just many!.
Typically, sagittarius and libra risings are considered very handsome/gorgeous people!. also virgo risings age quite well and pisces do too!. Venus near an angle can show beauty, and also juno conj!. the sun, moon, or ascendant can give one the look of being gentle and innocent!.

actually yes!. astrology greatly effect what people look like!. If you are good enough, you can actually guess the energy that someone has just by looking at them!.
example: I'm kinda hung up on finding an aries/aquarius girl born in 1986!.!.!. and because I've looked up those dates alot and understand the make-up , I guessed correctly 2 out 3 times of famous people I saw on tv for the 1st time born exactly on the days for that sun-moon make up!!! And the one I got wrong was the opposite, aquarius - aries!. Its crazy
but basiclly the signs traits go loosely like this
aries not attractive, kinda ruff
taurus have the down to earth pretty
gemini gives an allure on the eyes (not good looks, but their eyes draw you in for some reason)
cancer have a subtle beauty
leo is not a pretty sign, but it's a magnetic look
virgo gives a clean natural beauty look
libra gives good looks also
scorpio gives an allure on the eyes also!.
sag is not a pretty sign
cap is not a pretty sign and magnifies bone structure
aquarius is not a pretty sign but gives and allure for the eyes too

Virgo rising people that I know tend to have really photogenic facial structure does anyone else notice this !? they are good looking, but I'm not attracted to these people though!. Libra rising's are also similar and are also quite good looking too!.
