By transcendence you are talking about reaching a higher spiritual self right!? If so, two things come to mind at first: the 9th house and the nodes!. also, saturn may factor in!. If one overcome the lessons of the nodes and the lessons of saturn they are well on their way to achieving a higher spiritual enlightenment!. I always tell people though that the nodes and saturn are not easy!.
Learning the nodes is not about acting like the north node on one occasion and thinking you've learned it and put the south node behind!. It's about consistantly putting the south node away and becoming!.!.!.!.!.literally becoming!.!.!.!.!.the north node!. So, I believe you have north node in pisces!. This means that you must learn to put away your criticisms of others by developing a higher spiritual mind and by learning true compassion!. So, one assumes that one act of compassion is not enough to overcome the nodes!. This is why it can take so long for one to learn them and some never do!.
The 9th house is concerned with spirituality, though the 12th has rein over that area as well!. Any planets in the 9th or 12th houses can clue in on spirituality and transcendence!. Aspects will tell if this transcendence is easy or hard, depending on the nature of the aspect(s)!. The ruler of these houses is key as well, where it is placed and it's aspect!. Mercury rules my 9th, and mercury is in the 6th sextile mars!. We would think of "aggressive and energetic opportunities to advance and communicate spiritually" with this aspect!. That is quite true for me, I love debating about spirituality and can be aggressive at times about the subject, but yet I am fierce in learning (mercury rules the intellect) about religion and the like!. With your chart, I am almost certain the 9th house ruler is also mercury (checks)!.!.!.!.!.!.!.yes, virgo is on the cusp!. Mercury is in your 6th conj!. venus and chiron, opposing uranus!. The conjunctions indicate you may be greatly hurt or healed by your religion, and you consider it as an art!. You may approach spirituality with a sense of beauty, and it would be reasonable to assume you have much spiritual compassion, which can help you with the nodal lessons!.
