Andy Warhol was a LEO sun, rising LEO but he wasn't very fiery?!

Question: Andy Warhol was a LEO sun, rising LEO but he wasn't very fiery!?
He often appeared painfully shy!. He loved to be in the scene but wasnt the ''life of the party''!. He hated to talk about himself!. He was very soft spoken and had a whispery voice!. His personality definently wasnt fiery, why!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
yea, i agree, he exudes more characteristics of an eccentric aquarius by his style of dressing, ideas and all!. but his works are always upfront and direct and the colours he chose are bright colours which screams for attention "look here, everybody!!!"!. probly other planetary aspects like mars, mercury (perhaps, even moon- emotional factor) in air signs would explain the discreet contradictions of andy warhol, as a person and an artist!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Other factors play a part also!. I don't know his chart information, but his sun could be like in the 12th house or have heavy aspects with planets like neptune that could tone him down!. He could also have planets like saturn in his 1st house that could tone him down even more!.

1: look at where his sun is in his chart
2: look at the aspects the sun has
3: look at the planets and aspects that are in his 1st house!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I am too tired to write a long message, but lions don't have to be fiery!.!.!.i think they more or less exude their proudness and ego instead of shout it at everyone in passing!.!.!.

My Dad is a leo and he can roar with the best of them if angry!.!.!.he has fiery opinions (fiery i am using in the way of strong and bright) but he expresses them in firmness and in kinda a condescending egotistical way if you don't agree with him!.!.!.

Anyways I dont know much about Andy Warhol!.!.other than his cool paintings of marilyn monroe hahaha!.!.!.so take what you will from my thoughts!

Cheers!

Im a Pisces sun, Pisces moon and a Cancer ascendant, yet im a very fiery person (in a nice way of course not a nasty way)!. I guess its other parts of peoples charts which can give them unexpected personality aspects which do not in any way relate to their three main signs!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Often charts with an overload of fire, those people are EXTREMELY shy!. Strange, huh!? I've seen it again and again!.

And people with hardly any fire (or none) are like CRAZY fiery, like Mohammad Ali the boxer!.

Prolly making up for the lack, huh!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well he had a great mane of hair and was the centre of his hub constantly surrounded by sychophants, lived the good life, and left a lasting impression on the world!. Do you know his moon sign!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think he is very Leo working at the Factory with all his dedicated Factory worshipers around all the time praising him he definitely was the center of his universe!. He kissed up to and schmoozed all his rich, famous clients too!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Everyone with the Sun in Leo is not fiery nor do any sensible astrological texts make that claim!. I could not find a documented birth time for Andy Warhol!. I did find 6:30 AM given at this site:

http://www!.astrotheme!.fr/en/portraits/75!.!.!.

It gives no source other than Wikipedia, which does not list a time!. I suspect the source is strictly for biographical information!. The 6:30 AM time puts the Sun on the ascendant indicating this is a sunrise chart, i!.e!. the time the Sun rose at a particular place on the day of birth!. It is not a timed chart!. Nevertheless, Warhol looked a bit like a Leo rising!. He had The Sun, Mercury, and Venus all in Leo, so regardless of birth time, his chart would have a strong Leo flavor to it all the more since the Sun is so strong in Leo and it disposits (rules/influences) the other two personal planets and possibly the ASC!.

Let’s assume, for the sake of argument that he does have Leo rising at the degree on the horizon at 6:30 am in Pittsburgh!. Jupiter squares the Leo planets and ASC in the sign of Taurus, putting a damper on all that fire, as does Saturn in Sagittarius (Saturn in a fire sign cools things a bit or looked at another way cold dry Saturn is a bit hotter than normal – either way Saturn in any sign is never as hot as Leo; Saturn adds height when in aspect to the ASC)!. Having Sun, Mercury and Venus surrounding the ASC would make one a bit defensive by nature, but this person would not be able to hide from public view!. He would be noticed!.

Where does it say “Leo’s” are fiery in personality!? Leo is a fixed fire sign!. It is more restrained than Aries and less ebullient than Sagittarius!. It is associated with royalty not warriors or even hellfire orators!. Royalty is reserved, magnanimous, and generous (Warhol, a homosexual, financed his nephew’s studies for the Catholic priesthood)!.

The ASC is associated with the body and afflictions to the body!.

Diseases associated with Leo:

“All sicknesses in the ribs and sides, as pleurisy, Convulsive, pains in the back, trembling or passion of the heart, violent burning fevers, all weaknesses or diseases in the heart, sore eyes, the Plague, Pestilence, the yellow jaundice!.” Christian Astrology William Lilly 1647

Notice everything listed is associated with the chest area of the body!. Warhol was once shot and had to have his chest opened in order to massage his heart to save his life!.

As a child, Warhol had St!. Vitus Dance, a nervous system disorder (convulsive) thought to originate with scarlet fever or rheumatic fever (violent burning fevers)!. He died of a heart attack!.

Appearance (Note: not everything will fit):

“Great round head, big eyes starting or staring out, or google-eyes, quick sighted, a full and large body and it more than middle stature, broad shoulders, narrow sides, yellow or dark flaxen hair and it much turning up, a fierce countenance, but ruddy, high sanguine complexion, strong valiant, and active!.”

Lilly is describing the SIGN, not every individual that has the Sun in that sign!. Photographs I’ve seen of Warhol were taken after he was shot in 1968, an event that affected his physical well being for the rest of his life, show a man of above average height with broad shoulders and I suppose his hair is flaxen!. His eyes did not strike me as larger than most and he certainly did not have a fierce countenance or a ruddy complexion!. It might be considered sanguine!.

Lilly does use the word “fiery” since Leo is in the fire triplicity, but he also uses the word “Commanding” which he capitalized, a form of emphasis in the mid 17th century when he wrote!. Lilly also noted that Leo is a barren sign and Warhol left no children!.

Another description written well before Warhol was born:

“One born under this sign will have a handsome body; he will be yellow (probably blonde – tc) and his eyes are like a cat's eyes!. He is valiant and irascible, and has a keen appearance, and his legs are thin!. He is a man of morals and cunning, loves sexual intercourse; he is generous, barren, keeps his word, suffers a lot, puts himself in danger, and he is stubborn!.” - Ibn Ezra 1148 AD

Again the nobility is apparent and his description of the eyes differs from Lilly, but they may have tried to describe the same thing!. Cats have large eyes!. There is no mention of a fiery or even aggressive personality!. The descriptions are ones of strength, morals, and character!. Warhol seemed to have all threeWww@Enter-QA@Com
