Question: May 9: Jupiter goes Retrograde today - how does this affect the lucky influences in your life!?
Now that Jupiter turns retrograde, our forward momentum is reversed!. This period is supposedly not a good time to start new ventures, make financial investments or even change jobs for that matter!. Rather, it is a time to finish projects, an excellent time to pay attention to relationships, as well a time to gain a better perspective on life and our inner self!.
The major emphasis of a Jupiter retrograde period is rather, on inner awareness and inner growth!.
Where is your natal Jupiter placed - just Sign/House placement will do!. Is it in Direct or Retrograde motion!?
I'm particularly interested if you have natal Jupiter in Retrograde motion - do you find that your luck reverses i!.e!. increases when most others' chips are down!?

Since I have natal retrograde Jupiter in Aquarius in the 5th house , i guess when jupiter goes retro, it would benefit from it, when it makes good aspect to my planets of course!.!.!.!.but right now its only paralelle to my uranus and neptune and no major aspect from Jupiter for me!.!.!.
I got 90% for my last week medical test and that pushed me up to 2nd place in my class!.!.!.I reckon I am very lucky!.!.!.at least in academic department!.!.!.!.But thanks for reminding me of the retro jupiter!.!.!.I'd pay close attention to it!.!.!.!.
Maybe its time for me to stop dwelling on what can not be done!.
What is your advice when some one like me has retro jupiter and the transit planet goes in retro today !?

I'm a bit of a sad sack when Jupiter turns retro in anything!.
I have so much Saturn in my chart (esp!. Merc in Capricorn) that I spend considerable time in retrospection anyway, and to have this influence in Jupiter "fight" against the outgoing energy present in my Jupiter in Scorpio, it all gets rather tiresome!.
I also have a Saturn squ Jupiter, so when Jupiter goes retro, my energy, enthusiasm, and optimism act like a "see-saw"!.!.!.I struggle to sustain the positive outlook that Jupiter provides as gloomy Saturn pushes me back into myself!.!.
Add that influence to my Mars in Pisces, which produces inconsistent energy levels already, and you can really see the effect!.!.!.sudden bursts of energy and enthusiasm followed by super low energy level and sometimes even mild depression!.!.
Luckily I have several great, positive aspects that can counteract this affect, but Jupiter retro actually dampens my energy considerably!.
