Question: Based on a gemini sun, leo moon, scorpio rising, what sign or combination of signs would be the best match!?

I'm inclined to believe that in both cases, it would be better to find someone with enough positive signs to match your Sun-Moon combination!.
Although your rising is Scorpio, I think that since its influence is more superficial than your Sun or Moon, a water or earth Sun sign wouldn't be the best idea!.!.!.or at least someone whose Water or Earth element is very prominent in her chart!.
I would say that perhaps a Negative Sun (to match your rising) would be okay as long as it is not Scorpio because it would most probably square your moon!.(If your Venus is in Cancer, I think that a Water Sun might be good!.!.!.your Mars is in Pisces, if I am not mistaken, so it would also work well with it)!. It could be a Pisces Sun close enough to Aries in order to avoid a square to your own Sun!.
A Positive Moon would be ideal to support your Sun and co-ordinate harmonically with your Moon- I think Sag Moon would be ideal because it would offer balance to your Sun!.
As for the person's rising!.!.!.Gemini rising would be good, especially conjunct your Sun!.
Thus, we have Pisces Sun (hopefully on the cusp with Aries), with a Sag moon and Gemini rising!. So, you have a person with Moon-Ascendant opposition and possibly a Sun-Moon square!.!.!.could be hard to deal with, but it could also work perfectly for you!.
