Question: What do you know about astrocartography!?

I want to find explore what I recently discovered in one astrocartography reading: that in New York City, given my chart, I will be successful in terms of career, etc!., and that in or ar!. Madison, WI I will be in a better position to discover more of my authentic or true self!. This has actually turned out to be true in my life!. I want to know more about this field of astrology!.

I understand astrocartography and this is almost the same thing as a relocation chart!.
AstroCartoGraphy is best appreciated through a projection of your birth chart onto a map of the world!. Each sign rules a city, a country etc!.!.!.!. For example USA is Cancer!.
If you wanted to relocate and you had a good Moon placement, then you would relocate wouldn't you !? Your chart can actually see the tyoe of home you like, if near the water, a forest etc!.!.!.
For a job career, check the place you want to move to and do a comparison or synastry of the two charts!. It's harder to explain than to do!. My mind is not herre so I will cut it short!.
Astrocartography is useful and I use it a lot of time!. All you have to do is used your birthchart data, except that the location of birth will be in that new city, new country whatever!. If the reding is bad, than it is advisable not to relocate!.

All your manners will change to adopt to that new neighborhood!. But what if you are not welcome and everything goes bad!? You will take your belongings and move elsewhere!. This is easy!.
but when you come from across the world , and you land in a worse place than your birth place, this is a problem!.
To end this in a nutshell, Astrocratography shows you where you could operate at 100%!. Obviously, you can't bring the mountain to you so you might as well go to the mountain!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Hmm!.!.!. I was going to say I only heard of the name, but how you describe it sounds more like Relocation charts!. Nice to know it's called Astrocartography!.
Basically what they do is, use your exact moment of birth (e!.g!. that could be 1 am in London, but 3 am in Warshau) and then locate that moment to the part of the world you want to *relocate* to yourself!. E!.g!. when you are thinking of moving from Australia to Canada!.
Generally, the planets should not have moved an inch, but the Ascendant and the houses have, and what you do then is interpret the position of the planets in the houses "would you be born in the place you are visiting or moving to" and calculate your successes and/or failures, and opportunities by moving to that place!.

Astrocartography is very complicated and difficult to interpet on your own -- I had a chart made years ago and I still can't figure it out!. There are many sites that offer this service, get one that does the interpetation for you, so much easier!. I wouldn't say everyone goes to NY looking for financial success!. Many want to become famous or they want the nightlife!. But I do believe personal satisfaction is more important than money!. I've met a lot of people who regreted not developing the personal side of their lives, never met one who said, "I should have spent more time on the job!."Www@Enter-QA@Com

That said, I must say, relocation astrology is a personal fav of mine, having had experiences of it first hand!.!.!.
For example, my Pluto was "hidden" in the 12th house, and where I lived it was like I was "muffled"!. (Pluto is the ruler of my chart!.)!.!.!.!.and I moved to a location that put it in the1st house!. WHOA!. Totally different thing, def get wacked here, life is super duper INTENSE!.
My 11 yr old daughter's Sun was "intercepted" (or hidden) where she was born!. She always seemed to struggle there, had no identity!.!.!.!. Then when we moved, it came "out"!. WHOA again!. She's so lucky now, it's totally amazing!.
I know an older woman who wanted to confront certain Plutonian issues and I showed her where her Pluto was prominent!. She took a "walk-a-bout" or spiritual retreat there!. Can back totally different: transformed!.
So if you are a traveler, you can go an experiment!. Depending on the experience you want, you go to where the planets are strong (have to look in your chart to make sure there isn't trouble, don't want to increase that!)!.
Some folks think it takes about a year to feel the effects of the move, but I don't agree!. We felt it immediately, but of course the longer you stay, the better!. I would say 3 months is a good take!.
I know some prof astrologers that do relocation readings, if you are seriously interested (I guess you just got one though, huh!?)!. Anyway, they are expensive though ($100+/hr)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
