I get the feeling he wants to forgive you, but his pride and such won't let him!. He's waiting and holding out for you to do something to make him forgive you!. He wants to because he likes you and all, but he can't throw aside his pride and self-respect and male ego!. It!.!.!.wouldn't sit well with him if you will!. Not in the long run!.
Try talking to him to make him forgive you!. And if that doesn't work more onto actions!. Something not-too-simple, but not over the top is all he needs for it to be okay to forgive you!.
